Resource Teacher
Mrs. Lisa Wiederholt
Biography
I am excited to join the St. Catherine community this year as the Resource Teacher, especially because my passion is teaching struggling readers how to employ strategies for successful reading. After staying home for several years with my two daughters and substitute teaching for a couple years, I am thrilled to be teaching full time again.
Throughout my own school years, I attended St. Lawrence Elementary in Santa Clara and Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. In 1999, I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Portland in Oregon. I received my M.A. from the same university in 2001. My post graduate work focused on special education and reading.
As my husband Chris and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this year, we are blessed to be raising our two daughters in Morgan Hill. Elizabeth is a 2nd grader at St. Catherine, and Emily is looking forward to starting kindergarten next year. In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy hiking, biking, yoga, and reading.
