| I grew up attending Catholic schools in the San Jose area. I attended St. Joseph of Cupertino Elementary School and graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School. I received my Child Development undergraduate degree from San Jose State University. I went on to earn my California teaching credential and Masters of Education from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
This will be my 10th year teaching. Seven of those years have been teaching 3rd grade, my favorite. When I am not teaching I enjoy the outdoors, watching Giants baseball, boating, and spending time with family.
As a teacher, my main goal is to teach children to be independent, life long learners. I strive to create a classroom environment where children view school as a safe, caring place where they are excited about learning and want to do their personal best.
I am excited be part of the St. Catherine community and looking forward to another great year!
